The next step is to select a casket, urn, vault, or whatever you need for the type of funeral you wish to have.  Of course, you can leave these choices up to your family to make at the time if you you wish.

We always carry a wide assortment of merchandise to suit the needs and wishes of every family we serve.  We have caskets made of poplar, ash, oak, pecan, walnut, cherry, and more as well as cloth covered and steel caskets.  We have urns made of wood, marble, granite, bronze, pewter, crystal, and of course many more.  Since we serve ALL members of the community, we strive to have items available to suit everyone's taste as well as budget.

We should also put together a family list to include with the pre-arrangement information.  Although this information may change, it is a good place to start for the family when the time comes to need it.  It is quite easy for a name to get missed or names to be spelled incorrectly in the family list when it is put together at the time of death when the family can often feel stressed and disoriented.

And from there we simply discuss the details and wishes that you feel you would like to have recorded.  This can include the location for the service, music played, poems read, pictures and memorabilia to be displayed, or anything you would like to add to make the funeral all the more personal.  After all, this is your funeral.  Who knows what you would like better than you?

Once you have all the information recorded that you would like to have recorded, the information will be kept on file until the time comes that we need to use it.  You have made a wise decision to pre-arrange your funeral, to put your wishes down on file, and to make the funeral planning process so much easier on your family when the time comes.

If you wish to speak to one of our funeral directors about pre-arranging your funeral, feel free to call us anytime.  We are available 24/7 to answer any questions you might have.

Of course, if you wish to prepay your funeral expenses, there are benefits to doing so, but it is not necessary to prepay your funeral.  Having the information on file is the most important reason to pre-arrange.  But there are certainly financial benefits to prepaying, and they are outlined on the next page.
