Bernie Pierce ~ At Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday, October 24, 2011, Mr. Bernard Joseph Pierce of Listowel, in his 87th year.
Beloved husband of Dorothy (O'Neal) Pierce. Father of Randy and Karen Pierce of Atwood, and the late Janice Getty, and father-in-law of Art Getty of Waterloo. Grandfather of Sherri Anger of Listowel, Shelly Mitchell of Waterloo, Tammy and Bill Nauta of Listowel, and Brent Pierce and his friend Bobbi Scott of Atwood, and great-grandfather of six. Brother of Roy and Chrissie Pierce of Welland.
Predeceased by his sisters Winnifred Cumming, Helen Shackleton, Patricia Harvey, and by his brother Robert Pierce.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. where a private family service will be held on Friday, October 28th, with Reverend George Russell officiating. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
