Geert Zandbergen ~ on Thursday, May 22, 2008, Mr. Geert Zandbergen of Royal Terrace, Palmerston, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Jane Zandbergen. Dear father of John and Sandra Zandbergen of Truro, Nova Scotia, Tinus and Carol Zandbergen of Guelph, Dini and Herman Hobrink of R.R. 3, Listowel, Henk Zandbergen of St. Thomas, and Jerry Zandbergen of Brantford. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and his sisters Zus and Mina.
Predeceased by his grandsons John and Michael Zandbergen, five brothers, two sisters, and two children in infancy.
A private family funeral service will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday, May 28th followed by interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
