Bill Tinholt ~ peacefully into his Saviour’s arms, at Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Saturday, January 24, 2015, Mr. William Tinholt of Listowel, in his 80th year.

Beloved husband of Wilma Tinholt. Dear father of John and Chantal Tinholt of Ottawa, Fred and Caroline Tinholt of Gorrie, Joan and Paul Kapteyn of Onoway, Alberta, Annette and Jim Vellenga of Exeter, Judy and Henry Huisman of Waterdown, and Bill Tinholt of Neustadt.

Grandfather of Angela and Monty Holladay, Joshua Tinholt, Marisa and Sierra Tinholt, Amanda, Ryan, and Nicole Kapteyn, Justin Vellenga, and Becky and Shane Huisman, and great-grandfather of Landon and Annabelle.

Brother of John and Jeanne Tinholt of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Walter and Hennie Tinholt of Moorefield, Arthur Tinholt of Waterloo, Adrianna and Gordon Klaassen of Drayton, and Corrie vanOostveen of Listowel.

Predeceased by his sister Willy van Leeuwen and brother Pons Tinholt.


Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Listowel, on Wednesday, January 28th at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Ralph Wigboldus officiating.

Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
