Ralph Arends ~ On Thursday, April 23, 2015, Mr. Roelof ‘Ralph’ Arends of R.R. 1, Listowel, went home to be with the Lord. He was in his 87th year.

Beloved husband of Mary Arends. Father of Glenn and Anita Arends of R.R.1, Listowel, Sharon and Les Webb of Mexico, and Helen and Fred Heyns of Owen Sound. Grandfather of Ryan and wife Rachel, Kevin, and Stephen Arends, and Brad Heyns.

Brother of Jantje Hovius of Grimsby, and brother-in-law of John Pelleboer of Wyoming.

Ralph was predeceased by his parents Geert and Sietshe (Visser) Arends, infant granddaughter Mary Helene Arends, brother Jake Arends and wife Alice, sister Frances VanderVeen and husband Abraham, and brother-in-law Bob Hovius.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Listowel, on Monday, April 27th at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Ralph Wigboldus officiating.

Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
