Condolence: Dear Janneke and family. Our deepest sympathy with the passing of Hilbert! I had the pleasure during our childhood years getting to know you through my sister's friendship with Tasha, and we spent many years visiting back and forth. Janneke was such a good friend to Mom at the end, with many good visits. Thinking of you all at this time, Hilbert was a wonderful person, a very good farmer, and will be missed. Prayers and love to you all! Ria & Dave Stewart

Condolence: Dear Janneke and Family,
We are so saddened to hear about the loss of such a fine man. As your former neighbors and recently spending time at the Minds in Motion program with you and Hilpert, we were so touched by Hilpert's compassion and sense of humour. He will be missed by all who've had the privilege to know him.

Condolence: Janneke, Jonathan, Matt & Danielle, Tasha & Rob,
I was shocked when I read in the newspaper of the death of your husband and father. Hilbert was special to me, a thoughtful, conscientious person who loved life, loved the Lord, and showed it daily in his life. I am sure you will all miss him a great deal.
My prayer is that God will be very close to you all through the visitations and the funeral, and in the days and years ahead. God richly comfort and sustain you all.

Condolence: Dear Janneke & family,

Hilbert was an OAC classmate, friend and an usher at our wedding. We remember coming to your wedding a few years after ours and there was no doubt Hilbert had found the love of his life.
As can happen, when you move around as much as we did, you can loose touch. However we caught up at the OAC 50th reunion this last June and had such a great chat with him and was so pleased to see you again too. We talked about family and farming and teased each other like we always did. We will treasure that get together and think of him often as he was then, smiling and very proud of his children and grandchildren.

Fondly, Bill & Ursula

Condolence: Dear Janneke & family,

You have our most sincere sympathy in Hilbert's passing.
You may not remember but we purchased our very first Simmental cow from Hilbert in 1982, which opened the door for us to the "Simmental" breed and all the wonderful people we have met and associated with over the years. We spent lots of pleasurable times with in his company.
I am sorry that we will be unable to attend services honouring Hilbert. Be assured our thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the future days ahead.
Blessings to you all.

Sincerely,
Garry & Bonnie
