Condolence: I recall a time when my family moved from K/W to Listowel in 1978. It was my first day in Listowel, I naturally migrated to the Arena to see what was happening there on a summer day. I was only 10 yrs old. One of the first people I met was D.R. and he took the time to ask me who I was and where I came from. A very "welcoming" person who looked you in the eye when he spoke to you and you could see he cared about what you had to say. I knew right then Listowel was a place I wanted to grow up and he was very responsible for that feeling. The community has lost a great ambassador. Our condolences to the Town Families.
