Condolence: To the Cook Family:
I was very sad to see in the newspaper your dear
mother's obitutary.
A number of years ago when I volunteered with the
VON, doing exercises in the home with the elderly,
your mother was one of the dear folks I had
volunteered with.
Your mother was a very dear lady with a sense of
humor and determination.
I enjoyed seeing your mom's artistic art and
ceramic articles in her beautiful home on Nelson Street in Listowel.

We were so sorry to hear of you Mom's passing. She was indeed a very special woman! Saying goodbye to our Mother is truly one of the most difficult things we must do in our lifetimes but may wonderful memories of happy years past bring you comfort. She was such a dear friend of my Mom's and I like to think that wherever they are right now our Mothers are sharing a cup of coffee and a good laugh! I will always remember with fondness the times I spent at your home. How she could stop a band on teenagers from doing whatever by simply raising her eyebrows is beyond me (and unfortunately a feat I was never able to master.
