Beloved husband of Dorothy (Veitch) Bender.

Dear father of Donna and Bob Woods of Gowanstown, Doug and Michele Bender of Ottawa, Glenn and Debbie Bender of Port Perry, Bruce and Donna Bender of Pickering, and Paul and Charlene Bender of Whitby.

Grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 10.

Brother of Lyle and Edith Bender of Listowel, and Audrey and Peter McFarlane of Mississauga.

Predeceased by his sister Lois Douglas and her husband Ross, and his daughter-in-law Elaine Bender.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church, Listowel on Saturday, May 28th from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor John Lambshead officiating.

Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
