The Lord took Dorothy (Stelpstra) Boonstra to her heavenly home, on Friday, September 16, 2016, in her 87th year.

Formerly of Kurtzville and R.R.1, Gorrie, Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Clarence Boonstra (2014), and mother of Ray and Shirley Boonstra of Palmerston, and Marguerite Jacobson of Kitchener.

Grandmother of Jessica Boonstra and Steve Pecaskie of Kitchener, Erin and Joey Hollinger of Listowel, Adam Boonstra of Palmerston and his friend Laurissa Sikkema, and Lucas Boonstra of Palmerston and his friend Shaelynn Nijenhuis, and great-grandmother of Kiera and Colton.

Sister of Hessel Stelpstra, and Tine and Oege Adema, all of the Netherlands.

Predeceased by her parents Sybren and Grietje (Zylstra) Stelpstra, and sister Rinske Prinsen.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Interment and Committal service will be held at Fordwich Cemetery on Wednesday, September 21st at 9:00 a.m. The funeral service will follow at Immanuel United Reformed Church, Listowel, at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Fred Folkerts officiating.
