Condolence: I was so sorry to hear about Anne. Anne was an exceptional teacher...not only did she understand and practise excellent teaching methods, especially as they related to Special Education students, she was patient, loving and kind. I was a volunteer in Anne's classroom and eventually taught a Special Education class of my own. I thought of Anne often and tried to put her methods, and ALL that she had taught me into practice.
A great lady, I know Anne will be missed by all who knew her. She touched so many!

With my deepest sympathy, Liz Cox

Condolence: So very sad to hear the news. Anne was a true friend and mentor to me. She was my rock when I first started teaching in Deep River and kept me in line when I wanted to try different and sometimes often radical teaching styles. She was always there for me, to listen to my problems and help with solutions. She KNEW how kids learn and that's what made her such a special teacher.
When MY mom moved to Deep River, knowing no one and living alone it was Anne who dropped in for a chinwag just any time at all. And I know she visited lots of other seniors, just to say 'hi' and share a few laughs.
Anne and I had a special relationship and that she died on my birthday her legacy will remain with me for as long as I'm here.
Please know I'm thinking about you all and know how much you will miss that wonderful gal.
