Norma Smith ~ Peacefully, at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday, February 23, 2017, Mrs. Norma Frances (Diller) Smith of Listowel, in her 82nd year.

Loving wife of the late Albert L. Smith (1999). Cherished mom of Karen and Brian Allen of Listowel, Denise and Brian Boertien of Palmerston, and the late Murray Smith (2012).

Much loved gramma of Ryan Allen, Alysia and Tanner McIntosh, Therese Boertien, Justin Boertien and Kaitlyn Martin, Jared Boertien and Raechel Worte, Sarah Smith and Paul Smith, and Colton Smith, and great-gramma of Charley Grace McIntosh, and Jaydon and Jaxon Reynolds. Remembered by Diana Lebbink and many nieces and nephews.

Loving sister and sister-in-law of Dorothy Reesor, Eileen and Henry Martin, Herbert and Eva Diller, and Myrna and Howie Burkholder, Elizabeth Bearinger, and Ernest and Betty Smith.

Predeceased by her parents Levi and Alma (Barkey) Diller and her stepmother Annie Diller, infant sister Marie, and brothers-in-law Murray Reesor, Alvin Baker, Allan Smith, Edwin Bearinger, and infant sister-n-law Rena Smith.

Norma was an active member of the Listowel Mennonite Church where she enjoyed volunteering her time with numerous projects. Gardening was a great and therapeutic passion, as well as socializing, playing games, and preparing meals for her family and friends. Norma loved to watch the changes in the springtime such as the trees budding, grass greening, and flowers sprouting, as well as travelling with her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at Listowel Mennonite Church on Monday, February 27th at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Norm Dyck officiating. Private family interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.

Memorial donations to MCC or Listowel Hospital, CT Scan, would be appreciated.
