Merv Buchanan ~ At Listowel Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, Mr. Mervyn Alex Buchanan of Listowel, in his 75th year.

Husband of Gwen (Gardner) Buchanan. Father of David Buchanan of Vancouver, B.C. Brother-in-law of Doris Childs.

Predeceased by his sister Verna Dietrich.

Mervyn was born in Listowel on July 19, 1942 to Alex and Emily (Broughton) Buchanan. He and Gwen were married in 1963. He retired from Canada Post after 43 years of service. Gwen and Mervyn were members of Calvary United Church, Listowel.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, on Saturday, April 1st at 11:00 a.m., with reception to follow. Rev. George Russell officiating.

Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
