John Barton ~ At Providence Healthcare, Toronto on Saturday, April 29, 2017, Mr. John Clifford Barton, formerly of the Listowel area, in his 89th year.
Dear father of the late Jody Hunt, and grandfather of Joel Hunt of Kingston, and Jesse Hunt of Gagetown, NB and his fiancée Brenda. Uncle of Jan and Doug Dietrich, and Susan Freeman and Rick Morrand, all of Kitchener, Carol and Mike Armstrong of Mount Forest, Rich and Liz Watson of Kitchener, Jill and Shawn Buckwald of Pembroke, and Jeff Watson of Kitchener. Also survived by many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents John and Edith (Lynn) Barton, sister Mary Watson and her husband Robert, niece Barb Watson, and long time companion Dorothy Thomas.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or a Humane Society would be appreciated.
