Bill Miller ~ of Listowel, at Listowel Memorial Hospital, Mr. William Harvey Miller, on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, in his 85th year.

Bill was born and raised in Walkerton but spent most of his life in Toronto where he worked in the High Voltage Electrical Field. He pioneered in safe energized high voltage maintenance procedures and work methods, where he trained Electrical Company Linemen from coast to coast.

Upon his retirement in 1990, he settled in Crawford (Hanover/Walkerton area). It was here he met his wife Marjorie (Meyers) Fizell and moved to Listowel where they have continued to reside.

Bill was the loving husband of Marjorie, and brother of Jacquie Dorland of Niagara Falls. Father of Megan and Rory Wood of Brampton, Kim Miller and Tracey Gilmour of Toronto, and Susan and Gordon Aldcorn of Calgary, Alberta, and grandfather of Kristen and Andrew Wood, and Hannah, Rachel, and Lauren Aldcorn.

He will be remembered by Marjorie’s children Cathy and Barry Buchanan, Pat Fizell, Linda and Harold Illman, Connie and Joe Crosby, and Brenda and Jim Quail, and by their families.

Predeceased by his parents Harvey and Minnie (Diebel) Miller, and by his sister Jyl Leslie.

A Family Gathering will be held, with interment in York Cemetery.
