Beloved wife of the late Laverne Bender.

Dear mother of Donna and Bob Woods of Gowanstown, Doug and Michele Bender of Ottawa, Glenn and Debbie Bender of Port Perry, Bruce and Donna Bender of Pickering, and Paul and Charlene Bender of Whitby. Grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 11.

Sister of Geraldine McDowell of Unionville, and Ruth and Peter Melnychuk of Arizona.

Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Elaine Bender, brother Rev. Don Veitch and his wife June, and brother-in-law Melvin McDowell.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church, Listowel on Monday, August 14th from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor John Lambshead officiating.

Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.

Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society, or Youth For Christ would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
