Obituary for Irene McIntyre (Mink)
Irene McIntyre ~ Peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, Mrs. Irene Annie (Mink) McIntyre, formerly of Mississauga, Owen Sound and Chesley, in her 99th year.
Beloved wife of the late Roy McIntyre. Dear mother of Isaac and Patricia McIntyre of Mississauga, Mary Anne and Rick Dixon of Milton, Libby and Tim Deakin of Oakville, and Rev. Tom and Diane McIntyre of Paris.
Grandmother of Ryan, Steven, Danny, Paul, Cathy, Brennan, Brad, Mike, Kaitlyn, Jordan, Parker and Jeremy, and great-grandmother of Kaden, Marlie, Riley, Elijah, Nathan, Delilah, Gracie, Hunter, Jacob, Leah, Emileah, Logan, and Austin.
Predeceased by her parents William and Mary (Ludlow) Mink, sisters Rita Harvey, Audrey Eaton, Mabel Mink, Frances Mink, and Lillian Mink, and brother Allan Mink.
Visitation will be held at New Life Church, Milton on Thursday, August 17th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a short Tribute and Honouring time at 8:00 p.m. Graveside service and interment will be held at Chesley Cemetery on Friday, August 18th at 11:30 a.m. with reception to follow at Chesley Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity Irene really loved, Reality Outreach Ministries, would be appreciated and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel (519-291-4840).
