Wies Beets ~ Peacefully, at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Friday, August 18, 2017, Mrs. Louwerina Catherina ‘Wies’ (Honcoop) Beets of Listowel, in her 91st year.

Wife of Doet Beets. Mother of Marianne Gollan of Lucknow, Annie and Martin Fenech of Delhi, Elly Meyers of Alliston, Aldert and Inez Beets of Beaverlodge, Alberta, Larry and Tannis Beets of Kenya, Jim Beets of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, and Irene Beets of Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Remembered by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, and by her sister in Holland.

Louwerina was predeceased by her parents Louwerens and Alida (Dol) Honcoop, her son-in-law Paul Meyers, and by 10 brothers and sisters.

Memorial Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 780 Elizabeth St. W., Listowel, on Saturday, August 26th at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.

Memorial donations to Watch Tower Society or to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
