Joan van Vliet ~~ at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday, January 18, 2018. Mrs. Joan Lavina (Thomas) van Vliet of Listowel, in her 82nd year.

Wife of late Jan van Vliet. Mother of Shelley and Lawrence Miller of Listowel, Duane Edgar of Red Deer AB, John van Vliet (Dee) of Brussels, Debbie and Frank Claessens of Campbellville, Janis McCooey (Yolie) of Fort Erie, and Joyanne and Duane Derreck of St Catharines. Remembered by 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Verna (nee Dennis) Thomas, brother Charlie Thomas and sisters Ruth Durst, Mary Thomas (in infancy) and Joyce van Vliet.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Monday, January 22 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm. with the funeral service be held at 3:00 pm. Interment in Brussels Cemetery, Brussels, Ontario.
