Dr. Betty Fretz ~ at Palmerston and District Hospital on Monday, March 26, 2018, Dr. Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Margaret (Stobbe) Fretz of Moorefield, in her 69th year.

Loving wife of Marv Fretz.

Daughter of Mary Rempel of Mission, B.C.

Remembered by her sisters Cathy and Steve Krauchi of Prince George, B.C., Lynda and Allan Mantler of Abbotsford, B.C., Lorraine Stobbe and Greg Dunford of Vancouver, B.C., her brothers-in-law Glenn and Jamie Fretz of Kitchener, and Doug and Karen Fretz of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, her sister-in-law Sheila Kirk (Stobbe) from Abbotsford, B.C., and by her nieces and nephews.

Betty will be loved and remembered for the many lives she touched.

Predeceased by her father Jacob Stobbe and by her brother Ken Stobbe.


A Celebration for the Life of Betty will be held at Listowel Mennonite Church on Monday, April 2nd at 1:00 p.m. with reception to follow.

Memorial donations to MCC (Mennonite Central Committee) would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
