Passed away peacefully at her home, on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, Mrs. Allison Eleanor (McCann) Ament of North Perth, in her 81st year.

Loving wife of Bruce Ament for 62 years. Mother of Joe and Val Ament of Listowel, and Patti-Jo and Bill O'Leary of Huntsville. Grandmother of Amanda and Steve Henderson of Palmerston, Alicia Ament and Kevin Green of Listowel, Garret O’Leary and Katie Weber of Revelstoke, B.C., and Kaleigh and Carlos Ortega of London. Great-grandmother of Hudson, Hunter, Emmet, Ava, Renato, Mateo, Valentina, and Leandro.

Sister of Margaret and Jim Renwick of Clifford, and sister-in-law of Audrey Orth of Listowel, Eileen and John Janelle of Kitchener, Shirley McCann of Palmerston, and John Baker of Listowel.

Predeceased by her parents Bill and Mary (Harkess) McCann, sisters Isabell Baker, and Jean Hutchison and her husband Bill, brothers Jim McCann, and Fred McCann and his wife Joan, and brother-in-law Edgar Orth.

Allison was very devoted to her family, and a dedicated member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Wallace Township. Allison loved people and people loved her. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wallace Township, on Friday, October 26th at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiating.

Interment in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Memorial donations to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Wallace Township, would be appreciated.
