Art Versteeg ~ At Wingham & District Hospital on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, Mr. Arthur James Versteeg of Howick Township, went to be with his Lord, in his 53rd year.

Beloved husband of Louise (VanderBorgh) Versteeg. Dear father of Alesia and John Taylor of Edmonton, Alberta, Justin and Kelly Versteeg of Harriston, Lori and Sam DeGroot of Sanborn, Iowa, and Trish, Mike, and Lydia, all at home. Opa to Trevor, Cody, Lili, and Ivan. Son of Catharina Versteeg of Fordwich, and brother of Carrie and Ralph Groen of Milgrove, Irene and Robert Reinink of Dugald, Manitoba, Martha and George Schellingerhoud of Aurora, Abe and Debbie Versteeg, and Eric and Hazel Versteeg, all of Howick Township. Son-in-law of Herman and Marj VanderBorgh of Gowanstown, and brother-in-law of Don VanderBorgh of Molesworth, Debbie Greydanus of Gowanstown, and Dave and Julia VanderBorgh of Molesworth.

Predeceased by his father Jakob Versteeg, sister Betty Versteeg, and brother-in-law Bert Greydanus.

The Lord Willing, the visitation will be held on Monday, February 5 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 6 at 11 a.m. Both visitation and service will be held at the Palmerston Christian Reformed Church. Interment in Lakelet Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Word & Deed Ministries would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
