Leonard Heintz ~ Peacefully at Huronlea Nursing Home, Brussels, on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, Mr. Leonard M. Heintz of Listowel, at the age of 80 years.

Beloved husband of Pearl (Martin) Heintz for 57 years. Loving father of Rick Heintz of Milverton, and Laurianne and John Schaap of Englehart, dearest grandfather of Michael Weissner and Samantha Martin of Engelhart, and great-grandfather to Ellie.

Brother of Martha Schupe, Clarence and Eileen Heintz, and Sally and Eugene Shantz, and brother-in-law of Enoch Martin, Martha Schantz, and Marilyn Brubacher.

Predeceased by his parents David and Nancy Heintz, brothers Emanuel (Grace) Heintz, Carl Schantz, Syd (Beuhlah) Heintz, David Jr. (Carol) Heintz, and sisters Sarah Martin, Mary (Cleon) Brubacher, and Alice (Stan) Metzger, and brother-in-law Ray Schupe.

Leonard lived a full life and enjoyed farming for as long as he was able. He was an active member and usher at Listowel Evangelical Missionary Church for many years. He had a great passion for gardening, and loved his flowers which he will now enjoy tending in Heaven.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Listowel Evangelical Missionary Church, on Saturday, June 2nd at 11:00 a.m., with reception to follow. Pastor Jeff Woods officiating.

Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
