Obituary for Anne St. Laurent (Burton)
Anne Woodford (Burton) St. Laurent, formerly of Montreal passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday, March 5, 2022, in her 80th year.
Beloved wife of the late Blair St. Laurent. Dear mother of Sandra St. Laurent & Michael Groenendaal of Chicago, IL, and Tara St. Laurent & her friend Sam of Listowel, and grandmother of Sophia Groenendaal and Aidan Groenendaal. Also survived by her nephews Bobby Meade of Boston, MA, and Michael Fiddes of Toronto.
Predeceased by her parents George & Maude (Anderson) Burton, sisters Dorcas Meade and Betty Fiddes, and by her special friend Morris Brunk.
Anne was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec and moved into Country Meadows Retirement Residence in Brunner in 2017. The family is grateful for the friendships she enjoyed there, and the wonderful care she received from the staff.
A private family service will be held, with interment in Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal, Quebec.
Memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
