Arthur 'Art' Peter Frances Marlowe of Listowel, and formerly of Barrie, passed away at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton, on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, one month before his 79th birthday.

Beloved husband of Simone (Lacroix) Marlowe for 53 years.

Loving father of Michelle Peeters and her husband Nieko of Listowel, and Jason Marlowe of Toronto.

Proud Papa of Chelsea and Noah Peeters.

Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Jeanne (Barron) Marlowe, brother Patrick, sister Connie Johnston, and by his parents-in-law Augustin and Hortense Lacroix.

Remembered by his aunts, Joyce Barron, Marilyn Barron and Doris Morrison, and by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Also fondly remembered by Simone’s siblings, Raymond Lacroix of Sault Ste. Marie, Anita and Harry McConnell, and Pauline Lacroix, all of Barrie, Maurice Lacroix and Shannon of Perkinsfield, and Allen and Dale Lacroix of Newmarket.

A private Mass of Christian Burial for the family will be held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Listowel, on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment in St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Perkinsfield.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Huron-Perth, Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton or St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Listowel would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.

Art was blessed with extraordinary care at Knollcrest Lodge. The care and support given by the staff and Wendy Dunn went above and beyond expectations, and Art’s family will be forever grateful.
