To The Brooks Family,
We are so very sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. We enjoyed many chats under the poplar tree at Silver Lake over the years. He was a very kind man always willing to lend a hand with a sharp wit. He will be missed. May the support of family and friends console you in the days to come,

My sympathy to all of you in the passing of your dad, brother, brothers-in-law, grandpa, and friend, Bob Brooks. I met Bob at the Fordwich Nursing Home when I would volunteer there. I looked forward to his cheerful smile, and appreciated his interest in other people’s lives. I also appreciated how he always spoke highly of his wife Sharon, although often blinking away a tear as he reminisced about good times in the past. He also spoke highly of the rest of his family, his kids and siblings. There will be an empty spot there today beside Sharon when I go the the Nursing Home today, and I know many others will miss him being there as well.
