Jeltje ‘Ellie’ Vandergoot, formerly of North Perth, went Home to be with her Lord, at Hillside Manor, Sebringville, on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, in her 82nd year.

Beloved wife of Jurjen Vandergoot, whom she married in 1967.

Caring mother of Petra and Jelly Vandergoot of Holland, Walter and Ella Vandergoot of Atwood, Jacquelien and Bert Meijering of Trowbridge, Jelleke and Frank Sluys of Listowel, and Nienke Vandergoot and Jason Griffith of Listowel.

Special Oma of Jeffrey (Riley), Robin, Toby, Janine, Dennis, Jordy, Julian, Benjamin, Ryan (Rachel), Kimberly (Jordan), Simon, Emily, and also Pieter and Owen, both in heaven. Great-Oma of Sydney.

Remembered by family near and far.

Predeceased by her parents Pier and Jantina (Katerberg) Leistra, and by her brothers.

Visitation will be held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Listowel, on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live-streamed and the link available on the church and funeral home websites.
