Elvira De Castro (Ferreira) Carvalho of Listowel passed away at Royal Terrace, Palmerston on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, in her 78th year.

Wife of Manuel Carvalho.

Mother of Emanuel & Sandra Carvalho of Listowel, and grandmother of Veronica Carvalho & James Martyn of Hamilton, and Justine Carvalho of Listowel.

Sister of Antonio & Fatima Ferreira, Maria & Francisco Vieira, Francisco & Maria Ferreira, Jose & Margarida Ferreira, Joao & Alzira Ferreira, and Fernando & Fernanda Ferreira, all of the Azores, and sister-in-law of Durvalina Carvalho of London.

Predeceased by her parents Antonio & Elvira Pacheco, brother-in-law John Carvalho, and sister-in-law Maria & Jose Toste.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. with prayers at 2:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Listowel on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.

Memorial donations to M.S. Society or St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Listowel would be appreciated.
