Gezina "Jean" Steckly ~ At Hanover District Hospital on Friday, April 10, 2020, Mrs. Jean Steckly, formerly of Listowel, in her 87th year.
Dedicated wife of the late Solomon Steckly. Loving mother of Helen Steckly & Joe Soares of Flesherton, Dan Steckly & Wendy Brennan of Sudbury, and Lisa Steckly & David Walton of Huntsville, and grandmother of Sean McConville of Huntsville, and Jason McConville of Oakville. Sister of Pat Simmons, Harko & Geppe Wassing, Rick Wassing, and Steve & Elaine Wassing.
Predeceased by her sisters Trijin Weerd, Marcia Vanderveen, and Henny Hoekstra, and brothers John, Mans, Dirk, and Arnold Wassing.
Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel. Memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or the Listowel Food Bank (through the Listowel Salvation Army Community & Family Services) would be appreciated.
