Obituary for Grace Turnbull

It is with great sadness, but with gratitude for a life lovingly and courageously lived, that the family announces the passing of Grace Isabelle (Kiteley) Turnbull on Friday, April 16, 2021. She was born on February 19, 1929, in Wallace Township, Perth County, to the late Edgar and Jeanette (Livingstone) Kiteley. She was predeceased by her husband, Delford, in 1995.

Mother of Donna-Lee and Douglas Turnbull of Waterloo, and their spouses Mark Barrett and Anne Turnbull. Grandmother to Jeanne and Sean Turnbull, and their spouses Dana Smith and Lori Gruen. Great-grandmother of Paige Smith. ‘Grandma T’ to Jonathan and Daniel Barrett. Godmother to Wayne Cameron. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. "Waterloo Mom" to niece Lois Love.

Grace was predeceased by her husband Delford, infant son Wayne, sisters Ruth Love and Anna McClement, sisters-in-law Beatrice Mayberry, Della Mayburry, Bernice Coxon, and Lenore Stone, brothers-in-law Jack Love, Bruce McClement, Clifford Mayberry, Lyle Mayburry, Earl Coxon, and Jack Stone, nephews Bob and Donald Mayburry, and niece Linda Mayburry.

A special thank-you to the wonderful Williamsburg staff at Chartwell Westmount Long-Term Care Home in Kitchener.

A private family service will be held at Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Don McCallum officiating. The service will be live-streamed and we ask you to watch safely from your home.
