We are saddened to announce the passing of Heather Lynn Marie (Riley) Burgers, after a courageous battle against cancer, on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at the age of 56.

Survived by her loving husband Ed Burgers of Wingham.

Mother (and grandmother) of Jamie and Brian King (Chevy and Landon) of St. Thomas, Andrea Burgers and Steven Burge (Bailey ‘SweetPea’) of St. Thomas, and Justin Burgers, and Brandon Burgers, both of Waterloo, and Alexis Burgers of Wingham.

Sister of Marilyn Litt and Kevin of Wasaga Beach, Judy and Tom Edwards of Ridgetown, Jeanette and Grant Heywood of Wellesley, Margaret and Harry Schiestel of Wingham, Nancy and Larry Schiestel of St. Thomas, and Pam and Matt Schill of Wingham, and remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Margaret (Dingman) and Ferguson Riley, sister Sandra Riehl and husband Frank, and Sharon Fuller and husband Barry, and brother-in-law Herb Litt Sr.

Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
