Jean de Vries ~ Went to be with her Lord and Saviour, on Friday, May 3, 2019, Mrs. Jantje ‘Jean’ (Pikstra) de Vries of Listowel, in her 93rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Jolle 'Joe' de Vries.
Loving mother of Robert de Vries (Arthur Potts von der Lippe) of Paris, Emma de Vries Voves (Alan) of Toronto, Louise Eitel (Jeff) of Kitchener, Jo-Anne Edlund (Mark) of London, Dorothy Bonvanie (Bill) of Cambridge, Alfred de Vries (Joanne) of Gowanstown, Alice Burgsma (Byrne) of Dungannon, Harold de Vries (Kimberley) of West Montrose, and Gerald Marc de Vries (Natasha) of St. Mary's.
Loved and adored by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sister of Mien (d.), Anke, Hannie, and Abelien, mother-in-law of Lynn (nee Gauthier), and Rainer Leipscher, and remembered by her nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Predeceased by her daughter Grace Leipscher, and son John de Vries.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Tuesday, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Private family interment and committal services will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Listowel, to be followed by the funeral service at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Listowel, on Wednesday, May 8th at 11:00 a.m
