John G. Frey of Moorefield passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital, with his family at his side, on Friday, December 2, 2022, at the age of 82.

Husband of Seleda Frey. Father of Betty & Brad Brohman of Kitchener, Nancy Frey & Alain Breault of New Liskeard, Carol & Jari Sallasvaara of Kitchener, and John & Tracy Frey of Espanola.

Grandfather of John Colyn, Martin Colyn (Bryanne), Marjatta Lumsdale (Mike), Hope Formica, Katarina Sallasvarra, Krista Frey (Kolbi Thompson), Aaron Frey, and Veronica Brohman, and great-grandfather of Trent Colyn and Sadie Colyn.

Brother of Edward Frey of West Montrose, Alice & Cyrus Martin of Floradale, Peter & Doris Frey of Drayton, Anna Weber of Waterloo, Albert & Naomi Frey, Mahlon & Isobel Frey, and Ella & Amsey Weber, all of Elmira, and Erla & Cleason Weber of Drayton.

Brother-in-law of Dave and Cheryl Frey of St. Jacobs, Clare and Margaret Frey of Elmira, Ardith Frey of Waterloo, Aden and Sheryl Frey of St. Jacobs, Miriam Frey of Kitchener, and Barbara and Roy Draper, and Mary and Orval Martin, all of Elmira.

Predeceased by his parents Allan H. and Lydia (Gingrich) Frey, stepmother Fanny (Martin) Frey, son Alan Frey, granddaughter Tianna Frey, sister-in-law Eva Frey, and brothers-in-law Clayton Weber and Marvin Frey.

Visitation will be held at the Listowel Bible Chapel on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Interment and committal services will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Listowel, on Thursday, December 8th at 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will follow at Listowel Evangelical Missionary Church at 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will be live-streamed.
