Klaas DeVries ~ Surrounded by the love of his family, at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday, May 6, 2019, Mr. Klaas Aaldrik DeVries of Listowel, in his 84th year.
Fun-loving husband of Teresa (TenPas) DeVries, and loving father of Jeff and Joyce DeVries of Moorefield, and Jackie DeVries, and James and Corrine DeVries, all of Listowel.
Adored grandfather of Cam DeVries and Olivia Douglas, Brianna DeVries, Megan and Peter Epler, Curtis and Samm DeVries, Allyn Ward, Stacey Ward, Andrew Ward and Sarah Nurse, and Stephanie Ward and Mike Hussey, and great-grandfather of Marek, Noah, Scarlett, McKayla, Kayden, Electra, Keagan, Isabella, and Maxton.
Brother of Sander and Lois DeVries of Listowel, and brother-in-law of Wilma Ensing of Guelph, Diane and Reid Hackwell of London, Ben and Chris TenPas of Brussels, Mary and Henry VanBarneveld of Hanover, Agnes TenPas of Brussels, and Jane DeVries of Seaforth.
Klaas is loved by his nieces, nephews, and by his granddog Molly. He will be greatly missed.
Predeceased by his parents Jacob and Reina DeVries, daughter-in-law Tracey DeVries, brothers Kees DeVries and Randy DeVries, and by his brothers-in-law Henk TenPas, Albert TenPas, and Henk Ensing.
Visitation will be held at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Listowel, on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, May 10th at 10:30 am. Rev. Ralph Wigboldus officiating.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society Wheels of Hope, or Bethel Christian Reformed Church would be appreciated.
