Condolences to the Bricker and Russel Family. I'm 81 years young. I recall Lucy Jane as the older Sister of one of my best friends, growing up in Fergus. Jim Russel and I served as Officers in the Army Cadets, played foot ball and hockey together, double dated with our Steadies, Marion and Hazel - both became our Spouses and lifetime friends. Lucy Jane rode herd over us when she thought we were on the wrong path, at times. Lucy was a beautiful girl, admired and respected. Her Father Dr., Russell was our Family Doctor and saved my life on 2 occasions and Hazel's on 2 as well. Dr Bricker won the lottery when he married Lucy Jane. May God grant you peace and good memories of a life well lived. Sincerely, Stanley ( Sonny McLean ). Owen Sound.

Lucy and Jim were our neighbours for many years. Once when we lived at 2534 Gladstone and again when we moved to 2495 Lincoln. We remember Lucy as an elegant woman in all respects. When we first moved into the neighbourhood Lucy and Jim were one of the first to welcome us with dinner in their home. One other incident that we remember was when our son Matt was hurt riding his bike. I was not home at the time and his older brother Ben brought him to the Dr's (Jim and Lucy's home) Ben remembers Jim telling him he wasn't that kind of Doctor and so kindly took him to the emergency room at Met hospital. We will truly miss Lucy and the conversations we had with her when we met as neighbours. There were never so kind and thoughtful people as Lucy and Jim Bricker. Sincere condolences from Judy Fisher and Paul Stewart
