Obituary for Marjory Kaufman
Marjory Rachel Carrie (Illman) Kaufman of Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton, and formerly of Listowel, peacefully on Monday, October 5, 2020, in her 96th year.
She married the love of her life, Wesley John Kaufman (2007) on December 12, 1942. Survived by her many nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-greats too, treasured friends, and caregivers.
Predeceased by her siblings Dorothy (John) Krugel, Audrey (Harry) Kaufman, Lloyd Illman, Norman Illman, Stanley Illman, and Ralph Illman.
Marjory was the daughter of Henry and Mary (Engler) Illman. She was born and raised in Monkton, until moving to Listowel. She was a long-time and faithful office manager at A&P grocery store. Marjory and Wes enjoyed many years at the cottage in Point Clark they shared with Audrey and Harry.
Marjory’s sharp eye for detail made everything she did and create simply perfect. This was obvious in how she dressed, the great pride and enjoyment she gave and received from the beautiful flowers and plants both inside and outside of her home, and her incredible knitting and crocheting. She shared her knowledge and talents with many.
A private family funeral will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiating.
