Marlene Ruth (Hilson) Shiell of Listowel passed away at Caressant Care on Friday, April 29, 2022, in her 89th year.

Wife of the late Glen Shiell.

Mother of Bonnie Shiell of Lansdowne, Karyn Reschner of Listowel, and Brad Shiell of Palmerston.

Grandmother of Iain Stokes of London, Douglas Stokes of Listowel, Heather & Jeremy Martin of Listowel, Brandon Reschner of Elora, Tyler Reschner of Listowel, Meaghan Shiell of Atwood, and Matthew Shiell & Danielle Clarke of Fergus, and great-grandmother of Connor.

Sister of Carol Jones of Listowel, and Brenda Todd & Dennis Sacrey of Midland.

Predeceased by her daughter Kathy Shiell-Stokes, son Douglas in infancy, granddaughter-in-law Tina Stokes, and brother Bob Hilson and his wife Catherine.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. The service will be live-streamed.
