Obituary

Norman Ernest Leis ~ of London, winged his way to Heaven on Sunday, April 28th, 2019, in his 80th year.

He passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London, where he was surrounded by family and friends.

Loved and remembered by his best friend Jeannette McCutcheon, his children Vicki and Barry McIntosh of Listowel, Kevin and Annette Leis of Alma, and Gary Leis of Durham, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Jeanette’s children, and their families.

Brother of Elmer Leis, Douglas and Kathy Leis, Bruce and Sharon Leis, Barbara McConnell, and brother-in-law of Bob and Mary Clemens.

Norman will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, and cousins, who all meant so much to him.

Predeceased by his parents Allan and Martha (Lichti) Leis, brothers Bill and Murray, sister Marjorie Clemens, and brother-in-law Brian McConnell.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, on Friday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., where a private family funeral will be held on Saturday, May 4th, with Pastor James Clark officiating.

Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.

Memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, London, would be appreciated.

Jeanette and family I am sorry for your loss. After talking to Norm I found out that we know his nephews small world. He was always smiling and had a story to tell. He is from the old school loved working and loved people.
