Obituary for Peggy Richardson
Peggy Richardson ~ On Sunday Nov. 29, in England, Peggy (Queenie) Richardson peacefully passed away after a 7 year courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. She was 85 years young.
Peggy lived for many years in Listowel, and made numerous friends while here, before making the difficult decision to move back to England in 1988.
Always having that room brightening smile, she would make a point of using it towards everyone she met. Smiles were only interrupted by singing. And singing very well.
Unfortunately, that smile and voice faded, and was replaced by an empty stare and silence. But, now the smiles and singing are back for her, and we all can be comforted knowing that Peggy knows who Peggy is again.
Peggy will be missed dearly and remembered fondly by many, both here and in England.
