Husband of Diana (Marshall) Turney for almost 60 years.
Father of Jo-Ann & Kevin Matheson of Listowel, Judy & Keith Bergey of Kitchener, Kevin Turney of Listowel, and Janine & Robert Siopiolosz of Heidelburg.
Grandfather of Robert & Stephanie Matheson, Thomas & Mackenzie Matheson , Katie Matheson & Matt Aquino, Matt Bergey, Stefanee Bergey & Amanda Price, Erinn Bergey & Mackenzie Murray, Alexander Siopiolosz, Victoria Siopiolosz & Greg Draves, Catherine Siopiolosz, and Samantha Siopiolosz, and great-grandfather of Gray, Blake, Chandler, Ava Bella, Declan, and Heidi.
Brother of Lloyd Turney of Listowel, and brother-in-law of Cecil Cowan of Orangeville, and Eileen and Rick Fleming of St. Catherines.
Predeceased by his sisters Freeda Cowan, Gladys Gopsil, Olive Moore, Fran Johnston, brothers Howard and Garnet, and by his parents Archie & Florence (Ridsdale) Turney.
Visitation will be held at Trinity United Church, Listowel, on Wednesday, January 8th from 12:30 until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Steven Cox officiating.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
Memorial donations to Trinity United Church, Listowel, Listowel Legion, Heart & Stroke, or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
