Sarah (Frey) Martin passed away peacefully at her home in Brussels on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the age of 78 years.
Beloved wife of Oscar M. Martin for 56 years. Loving mother of Clare and Suzanne Martin of Forester’s Falls, Andrew Martin of Elmira, Leo Martin of Moorefield, Willard and Linda Martin of Gowanstown, Janice and Clare Wagler of Bellielse Creek, N.B., Norma Martin of Brussels, Mark and Lois Martin of Millicent, AB., and Carl Martin of Patricia, AB.
Loving grandmother of 29 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Survived by her siblings Henry Frey, Lovina and Amos Martin, David and Doreen Frey, and by her sister-in-law Maryann Frey.
Predeceased by her son Merlin Martin, grandson Scott Martin, great-grandson Trayden Martin, parents Amos and Lucinda (Brubacher) Frey, siblings Aden Frey, Noah and Florence Frey, and Allen Frey, and by her sister-in-law Martha Frey.
Viewing by invitation only will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
A private family interment will be held at Brotherston Mennonite Cemetery, Wallace Township, on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a phone line service at 10:30 a.m.
