Obituary for Tim Gibson
Timothy Harvey Gibson of Fordwich passed away at Victoria Hospital, London on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in his 62nd year.
Loving husband of Christina ‘Chris’ (Dyksterhuis) Gibson.
Father of Patrick Gibson & Amy Lawrence of Newbridge, Scott & Shayna Gibson of Kurtzville, Corey & Megan Gibson of Wroxeter, and Stacy Gibson & Richard Dolson of Fordwich.
Grandfather of Marissa, Destiny, Max, Rowan, Beau, Holley, Robert, Tanner, Bryson, and Layla. Son of Bob & Ruth (Bates) Gibson, and brother of Ann & Lloyd Reid of Minto, Kelly & Sue Gibson of Durham, Connie Gibson of Fordwich, and Clint Gibson of Rimbey, Alberta.
Son-in-law of Henry Dyksterhuis of Clifford, and brother-in-law of Barb & Mark Dixon of Durham, Kathy Harrison & Barry Hernandez of Bothwell, Dave & Patti Dyksterhuis of Windsor, and Tony Dyksterhuis of Clifford. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his mother-in-law Eileen Dyksterhuis, and sister-in-law Linda Dyksterhuis.
Tim grew up on the second of Fordwich, where he continued to reside his entire life. Tim enjoyed many adventures throughout his life and always had a hobby on the go. If he wasn't packing up his family to travel
across country each year, he would be planning the next camping trip or hunting and fishing getaway. He was accompanied by his beautiful wife, children and parents. Tim was known for his never ending love for his
children and grandchildren. They were his pride and joy, enjoying every second they spent together.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Tim’s life will be held upstairs at the Howick Arena on Sunday, April
23, 2023 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Wheelchair accessible.
Memorial donations to Howick Optimist would be appreciated.
