Brother of Chris and Ashley Slater, Amanda and Philip Ripper, Jennifer and Shawn Bernard-Jordan, Angela and Josh Bernard-Peck, Andrew Jacques-Durston, Melissa Jacques-Durston, Sean Slater, Mathew Jacques-Durston, Andrew Bernard, Christopher Bernard and uncle of Katana, Colt, Layla, Saphira, and Athena.
Grandson of Sandra Giesbrecht of Brussels, Ted and Chris Cowan of Brussels, Vern and Judy Jacques of Stratford, and Phyllis Slater of Alberta, and remembered by his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
