Tante Valy was an incredibly kind, supportive, intelligent, and generous woman. She was always up for a witty and funny conversation, even into her later years. While I did not have the opportunity to spend much time together given how far apart we lived, she somehow always knew what the grand-nieces and nephews were up to and cared greatly for us.
