DEATH NOTICE
The death notice gives detail about where the person passed on, who is survivied by them and the location and date of the funeral.

CARDS OF THANKS
This is an insertion in the paper where you thank people that helped you during your time of need. Typically people thank their Doctors, Nurses and friends.

IN MEMORIAMS
This generally states the deceased's name and the date of passing. It is not uncommon for survivors to include a short poem that fits the occassion.

Victim Services

Victim Services is a community service working in partnership with the local police, fire, and emergency services. 

Victim Services provides emotional support, practical assistance, and referral to community resources, to victims of crime and tragic circumstances.

Crisis assistance is provided by specially trained volunteers who are on call to police 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

A team of volunteers are contacted by police at the scene of a crime or tragic event to provide fundamental emotional support and practical assistance.
