Dear dad of Sandy and Mike Johnston of Listowel, Gary Scott and Keli Mersereau of London, and Ron Scott of Listowel. Admired grandpa of Ryan and Nicole Johnston, Heather and Scott Dafoe, Shane, Racheal, and Mercedez, and special great-grandpa of Jazlin and Jayda Johnston. Brother of Velma Morphy of Stratford, Barb and Joe Currie, and Bill and Dorothy Scott all of Listowel, Lawrence Scott of Goderich, and Earl and Anita Scott of London.
Predeceased by his son Michael Douglas Scott in infancy.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel on Tuesday, October 23rd at 12:00 noon. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
