I am lost for words. I have not only lost the best uncle but my friend. I will cherish my memories of all our special times and talks. He was a great man. Thank you for letting me share him. May you all stay strong as a family as that is what was so important to Uncle Doug. Time will replace the sadness with the comfort of knowing their will be no more pain and he is with the love of his life------your mom. We wish to extend our deepest sympathies for the loss of your father, grandfather. Our families go way back to Palmerston in school, west end neighbourhood and neighbours again on Elma street. We feel blessed to have known such a friendly loving man. There is something comforting in the fact that such a fantastic couple are now united once again. His laughter and sweet smile will be missed.
As days pass the pain will be replaced by wonderful memmories of the very special person he was.
