Father of Ivan Ament of R.R. 1, Gowanstown, Jim Ament of Listowel, Steve and Heather Ament of Atwood, and Greg and Bev Ament of Fordwich. Grandfather of Kerry and Dan Purden of Kitchener, Krista Ament and Rod Clarke of Fordwich, Nicole Ament and Morgan Ament, of Atwood, and Emilee Ament and Gina Ament, of Fordwich. Brother of Elda Oliver of Stratford.
Predeceased by his brother Gordon Ament, and by his sister Dorothy Dippel.
Visitation will be held at the Robert Trench Funeral Home, Listowel on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wallace Township, on Saturday, March 4th at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Ralph Dwarika officiating.
Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Elma Township.
