Gerry, we all miss you . You played a big part in our lives and my children's lives. They sure miss their Papa Gerry. I really wish you would have opened up and let us come visit . I was just not sure if you wanted us there or not. Even though Skylar and Vaughn would ask when are we going to visit Papa Gerry. I'm sorry.
The only thing that gives me comfort is knowing you and mom are together again and happy. We all miss you both so much. Miss the love and comfort you both gave whenever any of us would come visit. Jerry you are one heck of a fighter. I want to say thank you so much for taking care of mom when she needed you most. You did a wonderful job. With all your ales you had a heart attack, cancer and blocked artery, nothing could stop you then, you weren't going anywhere. I'm not sure why your time was now, the kid and myself miss you and we are very sorry we didn't get to visit you in the summer. I truly believe things happen for a reason, in that respect I am glad you didnt pass alone at home. You were on a mission to be with your family for Thanksgiving. Now who is going to write us stories? I am grateful you did write those stories and in a book so now we can have them all and cherish them with more appreciation now. We all miss you Papa Jerry! We love you and miss you grandpa. Mommy will teach us to fish and will tell us lots of Grandpa Potts stories.
