Condolence From: A. Carlyle Dunbar
Condolence: We are very sorry to hear of Barbara’s death. We had talked to her a little while ago, and she was in good spirits, despite her health problems. She was a redoubtable and admirable person, and we always enjoyed her company and conversation. She and Phyllis enjoyed being the “non Dunbars” at Dunbar family gatherings.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about Barb's passing. She was such a wonderful lady. Always full of life and always extending her arms and hospitality to newcomers. It is difficult when your mom is no longer with you. I feel for both you, Dave and Becky. I know what you are going through since mom passed this last February. It will be very difficult for your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Condolence From: Floyd Herman
Condolence: I first met Barb when I began my teaching career in the early 1970's at Grey Central - my first year there, David was in Grade 4, and Becky of course younger. There was nothing shy about Barb, and I admired that. She had a delicious sense of humour. I always thought of her as one of Grey Township's feminists, as she was a great example to young girls, to become involved in one's community and speak up for what's right. Thoughts and prayers for David and Becky, and family......from Floyd and Liz Herman.

Condolence: My condolences to Becky,David and families.
Barbara J. was a "Special-kind-of-gal"!Straight talker and told it like it was. There was never a doubt as to what she was thinking. I had many laughs and good times with her at curling, home & school, and church in Ethel. She will leave us all with many fond memories.

Condolence: Becky, David and Family,
So very sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. I know our parents shared many laughs, good conversations and great times with the old "teaching crew". I also enjoyed the many chats we had when I worked at Dr. MacKenzie's office or whenever we ran into each other. Wishing you light, love and strength at this sad time for you.

Condolence: My sincere condolences to David and Becky. I used to Babysit the both of you many years ago when I was a student and lived kitty corner to your place outside of Ethel. Your Mom was such an inspiration to me and encouraged me to pursue my wish to enter a career in nursing.Your Mom was always so positive and had a real zest for life and she loved the both of you immensely. Now she is at rest, safely home in the arms of Jesus. God bless you all.
Sincerely, Rosie Trznadel(Deitner)

Condolence: Barb was a one-of-a-kind lady. I was fortunate to visit her with my mom a few weeks ago and so glad I had that opportunity. When you visited with Barb you always laughed, knew where she stood on various matters, and you left with a smile on your face and good memories. She will be missed. My condolences to David, Becky, and families.
